The Senior Research Associate will be expected to coordinate research studies, contribute independently to projects, and perform statistical and graphical analysis of data. This role is designed for individuals who possess a high level of competency in research, although they may not have an independent research program. In this position, the Senior Research Associate will be responsible for making independent contributions to research projects based on their professional training and experience. They will need to interpret data, assist in judging its validity, and independently resolve issues that arise during research. The role may also involve establishing test controls, criteria, and research standards, as well as designing complex data processing systems to analyze research data. The Senior Research Associate will be expected to accomplish assigned results for projects or significant aspects of larger, complex assignments. Additionally, they may serve as a mentor to junior-level research staff and provide direct or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff, including responsibilities such as hiring, performance evaluations, and approving time off.
