RTI International is seeking a Senior Research Public Health Analyst specializing in Gender and Substance and Alcohol Use within the Substance Use, Gender and Applied Research Program in the Center for Health Behavior & Implementation Science. This role is pivotal in advancing complex research aimed at improving public health outcomes for marginalized populations, including adolescents, pregnant individuals, and sexual minority groups. The analyst will engage in marketing and proposal writing to expand the program's research portfolio, which includes both private and publicly funded projects. The successful candidate will possess the expertise to plan, win, and manage projects of significant value, write comprehensive reports, and present findings at professional meetings and conferences. Additionally, they will identify opportunities to enhance or expand existing studies, manage their own projects of moderate technical complexity, and work with minimal supervision while receiving adequate support from experienced project leaders or experts. The Senior Research Public Health Analyst will also lead scientific stature activities, such as publishing peer-reviewed articles and presenting at conferences, while assisting early and mid-career staff in their professional development. This position can be based in either Research Triangle Park, NC, or Washington DC, with teleworking options available.
