About the position

As a Senior Research Scientist at Google, you will be part of an organization that maintains a diverse portfolio of research projects driven by fundamental research, new product innovation, and infrastructure goals. Your role will involve setting up large-scale tests and deploying promising ideas quickly and broadly, while managing deadlines and deliverables. You will apply the latest theories to develop new and improved products, processes, or technologies. This includes creating experiments, prototyping implementations, and designing new architectures. Your work will address real-world problems that span various domains of computer science, including machine learning, deep learning, data mining, natural language processing, and performance analysis of hardware and software. In addition to your technical contributions, you will actively engage with the wider research community by sharing and publishing your findings. Your ideas will be inspired by both internal projects and collaborations with partner universities and technical institutes worldwide. The mission of your team is to build the most scalable and accessible graph library to empower teams across Google. You will also contribute to the Gemini Data initiative, focusing on organizing data, developing new datasets, and computing the value of datasets. Google Research is committed to addressing challenges that define the technology of today and tomorrow, and your work will have the potential to impact technology used by billions of people every day. Our teams aspire to make discoveries that benefit everyone, and we prioritize sharing our research and tools to fuel progress in the field, regularly publishing in academic journals and releasing projects as open source.
