About the position

The Senior Research Scientist in Radio Frequency Machine Learning at Peraton is responsible for leading the design, development, and prototyping of RF machine learning algorithms. This role requires a strong background in digital signal processing and RF domain knowledge, as well as expertise in modern machine learning frameworks. The position is critical in delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges faced by government agencies and commercial customers, particularly in the cybersecurity domain.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and prototyping of RF machine learning algorithms.
• Conduct research in the Machine Learning and RF spectrum domains.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver innovative solutions for government agencies and commercial customers.
• Apply expertise in digital signal processing to enhance RF machine learning capabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience with a BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD.
• Strong digital signal processing skills and RF domain knowledge.
• Expertise with modern machine learning development frameworks (e.g. Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• History of conducting research in the Machine Learning and RF spectrum domains.
• Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with common software defined radio platforms (e.g. Ettus USRPs) and software (e.g. GNU Radio).
