The role involves working on high-impact problems related to databases and operating systems, contributing to the design of algorithms and architectures in both single-node and distributed environments. Candidates will be part of a small, technical team dedicated to innovation in the blockchain space, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design performant algorithms and architectures related to storage or recovery in single-node or distributed environments.
• Research new architectures.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Significant research experience in databases or operating systems.
• Experience writing performant algorithms.
• Experience writing production-grade code.
• Resourceful and self-motivated.
• Collaborative and adaptive in a fast-paced environment.
• Curious about lower-level system details.
• Interest in building high-value, performant, and distributed systems.
