About the position

The Senior Restaurant Operations Manager at Dave & Buster's is responsible for providing overall leadership and direction on strategic initiatives and operating standards to enhance business results. This role involves managing a team, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced restaurant and entertainment environment.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, retain and develop your team.
  • Work with GM, AGM, and Training Manager to review talent pool and make recommendations on staffing needs.
  • Assure execution of staff training programs and appropriate staffing levels.
  • Lead and influence staff through effective motivation and leveraging individual strengths.
  • Select and develop Certified Trainers for more responsibility or internal promotion.
  • Promote positive employee relations and uphold operation standards.
  • Review assigned department's financial results and opportunities with leadership.
  • Manage assigned area by meeting goals, analyzing opportunities, and reviewing costs.
  • Secure all storage and cash handling areas to minimize risk and loss.
  • Continuously improve operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to D&B operating standards.
  • Set department goals by period for individual area and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks, and games.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve expected store financial results.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to write and verbally communicate clearly.
  • Ability to establish working relationships with all employees, management, and vendors.
  • Excellent teaching and coaching skills.
  • Ability to maintain and project professionalism at all times.
  • Strong statistical inclination, able to synthesize data into concise business tactics.
