About the position

The Senior Retail Media Campaign Specialist at Valvoline Global will be a key player in the in-house media team, responsible for building and executing large-scale retail media campaigns that align with the company's growth strategy. This role involves managing day-to-day campaign activities, collaborating with various teams, and delivering insights and reports to ensure optimal performance in the Retail Media channel.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute retail media campaigns, including account setup, campaign builds, daily optimization, bid strategy development, and budget pacing.
  • Manage ongoing optimization efforts to meet campaign goals, including daily management of campaign budgets, bid management, reporting, keyword and targeting strategies, and campaign revisions based on performance history.
  • Utilize the latest technology and best practices to build strategic automation into campaign management and reporting.
  • Recommend adjustments in keyword strategies, targeting, touchpoints, and assets to improve retail media performance.
  • Stay updated with retail media industry trends and developments.
  • Communicate with team and management on campaigns, timelines, and results, collaborating with the marketing team to drive a unified customer experience.
  • Liaise with Managed Service Retail media partners to ensure ongoing optimization and success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in eCommerce marketing; plus a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in retail media platforms.
  • Skill mastery in executing in retail media platforms.
  • Detailed knowledge of retail media account management and current best practices.
  • Proven track record delivering campaigns that drive growth and revenue.
  • Enthusiasm for performance marketing and eCommerce.
  • At least 4 years of digital performance marketing experience in e-commerce/retail search, paid search, PPC, paid social, programmatic, or related field.
  • Expert-level hands-on experience in Amazon Vendor Central and Wal-Mart Connect.
  • Experience managing budgets and meeting KPIs.
  • Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset.
  • Strong personal organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
  • Well-honed communication skills and ability to explain complex ideas simply.
  • Competitive, humble, with high integrity and self-motivation.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and across the organization.
  • Strong desire for learning and exploring new marketplace tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in Amazon Seller Central.
  • Amazon and Walmart certifications.
