About the position

The Senior Retail Media Manager at Tredence is a pivotal role focused on driving the growth and efficiency of the retail media team. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the retail and media landscape. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to develop and execute media strategies, ensuring that insights are effectively communicated and utilized to influence media investments and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute media strategy and tactical planning in retail/shopper marketing.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to deliver customer insights that influence media investment strategies.
• Ensure delivery of assigned insight analyses with clear communication and detailed project plans.
• Drive strategic initiatives by identifying issues, creating hypotheses, and translating data into actionable insights.
• Support the development of executive-level presentations and perspectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, operations research, marketing analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• 7-9 years of experience in analytics, consulting, retail, media, or relevant industries.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SQL in Hive/Hadoop/Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Strong programming skills in R/Python for data analytics.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in BI Tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Omniture/Adobe Analytics).

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in a related quantitative field.
• Experience using tools such as Simmons, MRI, Kantar or equivalent.
• Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external partners.
• Dynamic personality with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
