About the position

The Senior Revenue Accountant at ServiceNow plays a crucial role in supporting the company's financial operations by ensuring compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance business processes, manage SKU setups, and participate in system enhancement projects. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a continuous improvement mindset to adapt to the fast-paced environment of a leading technology company.

Responsibilities

• Support new Go-To-Market initiatives by translating business needs into accounting and finance requirements.
• Understand and interpret New Product Introduction (NPI) proposals and drive solutions for identified inefficiencies.
• Own the SKU setup in various systems to ensure proper accounting in accordance with US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Participate in the Standalone Selling Price (SSP) framework review and annual update process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive process innovation and workflow decisions.
• Engage in system enhancement projects and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure successful project completion.
• Support month-end close, SOX compliance, external audits, and management reporting.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of US GAAP and understanding of ASC 606.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data management tools like Excel and Power BI.
• Ability to adapt to changes and comprehend complex topics quickly.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse cultures.
• Experience in Big 4 or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) revenue accounting is a plus.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
