About the position

The Senior Revenue and Pricing Analyst is responsible for managing pricing, promotional offerings, and revenue for the pre-cruise business in collaboration with cruise line partners. This role involves leveraging data and business intelligence dashboards to analyze booking trends and pricing structures, with the primary goal of identifying and executing strategies to increase pre-cruise revenue. The position requires frequent coordination with various stakeholders and emphasizes a collaborative working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize yields through data-driven inventory management and pricing strategies for all pre-cruise products
  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly price changes into systems
  • Leverage data sets and B.I. dashboards to understand booking trends and demand for pre-cruise products
  • Develop pricing and promotional strategies at different levels for each cruise line on the pre-cruise platform
  • Conduct ongoing competitor price and product analysis
  • Validate reports and data at different levels of granularity
  • Maximize group and charter business pre-cruise revenue opportunities
  • Provide frequent performance updates to key stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.)
  • 3-5 years work experience in business, pricing, and/or financial analysis
  • Cruise line revenue management experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, Brio Intelligence/Hyperion Studio, Toad Oracle SQL, PowerBI, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manipulate data effectively
  • Understanding of pricing, revenue management, and basic economic concepts
  • Ability to organize and analyze large volumes of data independently
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and problem identification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and manage multiple projects.
