In the Hospital Billing department, the role involves continually evaluating and assessing key financial performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. The position supports complex revenue cycle initiatives through the extraction and analysis of data impacting the hospital and provider revenue cycles. The responsibilities include collaborating with others within the organization to ensure efficient and effective processes for optimal revenue cycle outcomes, evaluating financial indicators, and providing recommendations for improved performance. The role also involves developing and presenting recommendations on revenue cycle data and improvements to leadership, analyzing operational data/trends, and mentoring analysts on the team. Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with others within the organization to ensure efficient and effective processes for optimal revenue cycle outcomes.
  • Evaluates and assesses financial indicators and provides recommendations resulting in improved performance.
  • Develops and presents recommendations on revenue cycle data and improvements to leadership.
  • Analyzes operational data/trends as well as national benchmarks to gauge organizational performance and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Provides complex analyses on highly confidential revenue cycle projects.
  • Mentors analysts on team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of revenue cycle processes and financial analysis.
