The Senior Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst will play a critical role in the design, development, implementation, and operational management of revenue cycle information systems. This position requires collaboration with external vendors, system owners, community partners, contractors, and leadership to ensure the effective functioning of various systems including Soarian, PBAR, Siemens MedSeries 4, Cerner, Change Healthcare, nThrive (MedAssets) Suite, Relay Assurance Plus, Visiquate, GE Centricity, and PatientKeeper, among others. The analyst will be responsible for identifying and documenting IT design specifications based on user needs assessments and generating need-gap analyses to enhance system performance. In this role, the Senior Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst will utilize their expertise to define system scope and objectives, analyze existing or proposed systems, and develop or modify procedures to address issues through data processing. Acting as an application administrator, the analyst will ensure data integrity, maintain system security, extract and analyze data, facilitate communication between users and vendors, and manage software upgrades, implementations, and conversions. A deep understanding of the functional workflows and processes of the supported departments is essential to maintain system functionality and design, thereby enhancing workflow efficiency and user productivity. The analyst will also balance their responsibilities between direct customer service and project-related activities, which include analyzing, planning, designing, creating, and maintaining intermediate to advanced level reports using various technologies such as IBM Showcase, QlikView, Cerner Command Language (CCL), OnDemand, and Siemens MedSeries 4 Query/Reports. This position requires independent work on complex system activities and project management tasks, making it essential for the analyst to possess strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
