About the position

The Senior Revenue Integrity Data Analyst is responsible for overseeing revenue cycle reporting and management within Benefis Health System. This role focuses on ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and accountability of state and regulatory data, while also developing and maintaining dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs). The analyst will monitor adherence to charge reconciliation processes, coordinate charge audits, and collaborate with various departments to enhance reporting capabilities. Additionally, the position requires staying updated on regulatory changes and communicating their potential impacts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue cycle reporting and management, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and work queues for tracking KPIs.
• Monitor revenue departments' adherence to charge reconciliation processes.
• Coordinate the charge audit process and analyze findings for improvement.
• Collaborate with different functional areas to create charge and billing reports.
• Train departments on generating reports that meet organizational requirements.
• Stay updated on national, state, and local regulatory changes and communicate impacts to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of healthcare-related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Master's Degree in Business, Finance, or Healthcare preferred.
• Working knowledge of Medical Billing and Hospital Revenue Cycle.
• Familiarity with Charge Capture Processes, HCPCS, CPT4, ICD-10 coding, Modifiers, Revenue Codes, and CCI edits preferred.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Basic Human Anatomy, Hospital EMR Systems, and Clinical Documentation Practices required.
• High mathematical acumen and ability to analyze data effectively.
