About the position

The Senior Revenue Management Analyst provides specialized technical and analytical support for the Unified Revenue Organization (URO) at Trinity Health. This role involves complex assignments requiring in-depth knowledge in revenue management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage small projects. The analyst will access databases, generate reports, perform data analysis, and make recommendations for system and process improvements, while also serving as a subject matter expert and resource for internal associates.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, evaluate, and interpret data, processes, systems, policies, regulations, and internal controls.
  • Conduct impact analyses and modeling, assess trends, identify risks, and prepare detailed written summaries for management review.
  • Utilize integrated financial systems and reporting tools to develop detailed reports and summaries to support projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in the development of process improvement initiatives to enhance revenue management performance.
  • Manage and/or lead small projects or portions of projects, ensuring project plans and deliverables are met.
  • Assist in identifying operational and financial metrics and provide appropriate interpretation of data.
  • Support the standardization of financial information systems and reporting tools across the URO.
  • Interface with internal management and stakeholders, providing guidance and problem resolution on complex situations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Informatics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible operational or consulting experience in revenue management.
  • Some knowledge and experience in the healthcare industry or hospital financial operations.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and financial systems/software.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, evaluative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves
