About the position

The position provides specialized technical and analytical support for the Unified Revenue Organization (URO) at Trinity Health, focusing on revenue management. It involves complex assignments requiring in-depth knowledge and strong analytical skills, with responsibilities including data extraction, report generation, and process improvement recommendations. The role also includes serving as a subject matter expert and providing guidance to internal associates.

Responsibilities

  • Access databases and utilize reporting tools to extract data and generate reports.
  • Perform data analysis and draft system/process improvement recommendations.
  • Interface with various levels of management and internal executive leaders to gather information and make presentations.
  • Conduct impact analyses and modeling, assess trends, identify risks, and prepare detailed written summaries for management review.
  • Utilize integrated financial systems and business intelligence tools to develop detailed reports and summaries.
  • Participate in the development of process improvement initiatives to enhance revenue management performance.
  • Manage and/or lead small projects or portions of projects with limited impact.
  • Perform business case ROI and conduct business workflow mapping and impact analysis.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain systems that provide financial, statistical, and operational information.
  • Support the standardization of financial information systems and reporting tools across the URO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Informatics or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible operational or consulting experience in revenue management.
  • Some knowledge and experience of the healthcare industry or hospital financial operations.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business intelligence reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, evaluative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of project plan development and change management methodologies.
  • Experience in auditing, consulting, or reimbursement systems in healthcare.
