About the position

As a Senior Revenue Operations Analyst at Cohere, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Revenue organization and Senior Leadership across a variety of strategic and tactical initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass sales territory design, account scoring and modeling, forecasting, sales performance analysis, and facilitating weekly executive meetings as well as the bi-annual planning process. This position is integral to enhancing the analytics strategy and roadmap, which will ultimately drive better decision-making within the organization. In this role, you will partner closely with sales and go-to-market (GTM) leadership to develop and implement an analytics strategy that elevates dashboarding and reporting capabilities. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that the Revenue team has a comprehensive view of the customer within the CRM, incorporating product usage, customer engagement metrics (such as support tickets, sales emails, and marketing campaigns), and contract data. This holistic view is essential for driving revenue growth and improving sales productivity. Your responsibilities will also include optimizing funnel performance and maximizing the return on investment (ROI) of sales and customer success efforts through data-driven analytics. You will create and maintain sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards, while analyzing market data, customer segmentation, and sales performance metrics to define territory assignments and sales quotas. Regular reporting, data visualizations, and insights will be provided to senior management regarding sales performance and trends, and you will manage urgent ad hoc data analysis and quality assurance support requests.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales and GTM leadership to build the analytics strategy and roadmap.
  • Uplevel dashboarding and reporting to drive better decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enable a 360-degree view of the customer in the CRM.
  • Optimize funnel performance and maximize ROI of sales and customer success efforts using analytics.
  • Create and maintain sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards.
  • Analyze market data, customer segmentation, and sales performance metrics to define territory assignments and sales quotas.
  • Provide regular reports, data visualizations, and insights to senior management regarding sales performance and trends.
  • Manage urgent ad hoc data analysis and QA support requests.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales operations or a related role.
  • 3+ years of big data experience, using BI tools such as Looker and/or writing complex SQL.
  • Experience with ETL processes and familiarity with popular data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills with senior management audiences, able to explain data and analysis clearly.
