Relay, a Raleigh-based tech startup, is looking to change the way we communicate. We're on a mission that matters, and we're hiring for a Senior Revenue Strategy Analyst with strong financial modeling skills and startup experience to our team to help accelerate this mission. Our cloud solution offers a data driven approach to frontline work through real time communications, real time location information and powerful real time data and insights. Here at Relay, we've designed, built and launched an entirely new product category and we're disrupting the handheld radio industry. This role will focus on aligning business models-including pricing, go-to-market (GTM) motions, and support models-with our target customer segments in order to maximize growth and profitability. This role will play a critical role in evaluating the effectiveness of our current approaches, validating hypotheses, and refining strategies to accelerate our scaling efforts. This role will be based in our Raleigh, North Carolina HQ and we work in a hybrid model with 3 days (M,W,F) in the office, 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage processes to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of our go-to-market motions, validating key assumptions, and refining approaches based on data-driven insights.
- Partner with key stakeholders across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure business models are aligned with overall company goals and customer expectations.
- Partner with Market Strategy team to gather ongoing analysis of market trends, competitive pricing, and customer behavior to inform business model decisions.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business models and revenue strategies, reporting regularly to leadership on progress and insights.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with strategy, financial analysis, revenue or corporate planning, and analytics
- Highly proficient financial modeling and PowerPoint deck building
- Analytical mindset with the ability to form and validate hypotheses and drive data-informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and present to senior leadership
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Entrepreneurial interest and passion for the startup space
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
