About the position

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Revenue Systems Analyst to join our team at Adobe, where you will play a pivotal role in transforming our accounting operations on the SAP S/4 HANA platform. This position is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about data-driven problem solving and possesses the ability to communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences. You will be part of a team that provides best-in-industry services for measuring results and driving insights for our finance community, utilizing cutting-edge data science, automation, and AI tools such as Snaplogic, Python, Databricks, and Azure AI. In this role, you will assist with the upgrade of our revenue accounting systems to SAP S/4 HANA, ensuring a smooth transition and implementation. You will support and backfill the daily tasks of the Revenue Accounting and Operations (RAO) organization, coordinating with a wide range of internal and external teams to document business requirements. This includes collaboration with RAO, Adobe Technology Services (ATS), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Legal teams. You will also be responsible for designing and testing revenue-relevant data models in accordance with FASB ASC 606, ensuring compliance and accuracy in our financial reporting. As we approach the final go-live of S/4 HANA, you will provide critical support during the hypercare period, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally and that any issues are promptly addressed. Your expertise will be essential in guiding the project from requirements setting to Production Acceptance Testing (PAT), and your knowledge of agile methods will be beneficial in managing the project effectively. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and prioritize competing demands effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the upgrade of our revenue accounting systems to SAP S/4 HANA
• Support and backfill the Revenue Accounting and Operations (RAO) org's daily tasks
• Coordinate with a broad range of teams both internally and externally to document business requirements including RAO, Adobe Technology Services (ATS), FP&A, and Legal
• Design and test revenue relevant data models in accordance with FASB ASC 606
• Support the Company through the final go-live of S/4 HANA and during the hypercare period

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of related experience required (Software industry and/or CPA firm experience preferred)
• Broad knowledge of technical application of ASC 606 and all other current authoritative literature related to revenue recognition is required, with an emphasis on Software and SAAS principles
• Experience and understanding of the Quote to Cash cycle
• Proven record of guiding a project from requirements setting to Production Acceptance Testing (PAT); knowledge of agile methods is preferred
• Proven ability to drive large-scale planning processes that involve multiple business partners
• Experience with data science and ETL tools such as Snaplogic or Python
• Knowledge/understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Interest/experience in cutting-edge Gen AI and other automative tools including Azure AI and relevant Python modules
• High attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to lead, set objectives, and seek results
• Proven record of delivery and ability to assess and prioritize competing demands
• Hands on experience with SAP Order to Cash
