About the position

The Sr. RF Electrical Engineer at BAE Systems plays a crucial role in supporting engineering development, integration, testing, and transition to production of complex electronic modules. This position requires strong technical aptitude and communication skills, as the engineer will work closely with a dynamic team to design, test, and troubleshoot RF circuit cards and modules, ensuring high-quality outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering development, integration, test, and transition to production efforts on complex electronic modules.
• Design complex RF circuit card assemblies.
• Test and troubleshoot systems, modules, and sub-assemblies of RF modules, collaborating with program engineering personnel as needed.
• Interface with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and other supporting functions to drive defect resolution to root cause.
• Generate and implement improvements in product and test design and methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield, and improve throughput.
• Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, Engineering Change Orders, and other documentation.
• Provide training and support to technicians and manufacturing personnel as required.
• Support Root Cause and Corrective Action activities.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5 years of work experience or experience in RF and analog engineering is required.
• Working knowledge of the full lifecycle of a product from Proposal to Design to Production is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in teams is a must.
