Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant within the Investment Portfolio (IP)/Treasury Credit and Counterparty Credit Risk team. This position is part of Wells Fargo's second line of defense and is within Finance Risk Management, reporting to the Group Senior Credit Officer. The role focuses on data management, which includes aggregation, analysis, and reporting to support the monitoring and oversight of credit exposures in the Investment Portfolio. Additionally, the position supports credit oversight activities of the team. Responsibilities encompass the execution of processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of credit risk data, and assisting senior credit officers with credit administration responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, collaborative, highly self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual with experience in debt markets, data analysis, and reporting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as this individual will interact with professionals from various groups within the firm, including the Investment Portfolio teams, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Technology, and Enterprise Risk and Audit. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while building relationships across teams. In this position, you will be responsible for process activities, data reconciliation, and documentation in alignment with policy governance, established risk controls, and credit risk practices. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used to analyze and produce best-in-class reports and presentations for various portfolio activities and ad-hoc materials. Collaboration with partners, managers, compliance, technology, and accounting will be crucial to resolve data and production issues. You will represent the IP Credit team and produce deliverables for multiple cross-functional initiatives, support the Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) and non-performing asset/loss forecast processes for debt securities, and assist senior credit officers with credit administration.
