About the position

The Senior Robotic Systems Engineer will focus on ensuring the safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance of advanced robotic systems. This role involves guiding the design and development process to meet industry standards and regulations, leveraging expertise in safety analysis and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct product safety analysis using HARA, DFMEA, and FMEA methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and certification processes.
  • Collaborate with design teams to integrate safety standards throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Perform hands-on risk assessments and safety testing of robotic systems.
  • Document compliance and safety reports for regulatory purposes.
  • Engage in cross-team collaboration to uphold safety standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on product safety and compliance.
  • Proficiency in HARA (Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment) and DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
  • Experience with FMEA and using JAMA for safety and compliance tracking.
  • Strong background in robotics, including knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Familiarity with industry safety and compliance standards.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hands-on experience with system-level design reviews for safety compliance.
  • Knowledge of the full product lifecycle from concept to production.
  • Excellent analytical skills for identifying risks and providing solutions.
  • Experience with global safety certifications for robotics products.
