About the position

As a Senior Robotics Software Engineer at Intrinsic, you will play a pivotal role in developing and deploying advanced robotic automation solutions using the Intrinsic platform. This position involves collaborating with industry-leading partners to innovate and enhance factory automation technologies, ensuring that robotics become more intelligent and accessible for a wider range of businesses and developers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of cutting-edge robotic automation solutions using the Intrinsic platform.
• Design, implement, test, and maintain innovative software features to expand Intrinsic's capabilities.
• Document and communicate your work for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate alongside industry-leading partners to deploy automation products.

Requirements

• Master's or equivalent in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
• Professional work proficiency with C++ and/or Python.
• Proven ability to lead and work with a team, setting directions and driving towards solutions.
• Professional background of leading and delivering industrial robotics and automation solutions to customers.
• Motivation to closely collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Expertise in ROS 2 (and frameworks like moveit2, ros2_controls, nav2, Open-RMF) and hands-on experience integrating the same into physical applications.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications using Kubernetes, gRPC, Protobuf, Bazel, microservice architectures, and/or real-time systems.
• Programming skills in Rust (and frameworks like Bevy), Angular, TypeScript, and/or Go.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
