About the position

The Senior Rust Developer for Pricing is responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that enhance pricing strategies and processes within the organization. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of pricing systems, which directly influence the company's profitability and market competitiveness. The developer will work with a modern tech stack, primarily focusing on Rust, TypeScript, and Solidity, while also engaging with blockchain technologies to optimize pricing algorithms and enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

• Own entire features from specification to shipping
• Stay up to date with the nascent and rapidly evolving blockchain space
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams including engineering, design, research, data science, product management, executive leadership, and recruiting
• Be a steward and influencer of our engineering culture focusing on simplicity, maintainability, and performance
• Work with smart contract engineers to design secure gas optimizations
• Integrate new AMMs as they attract liquidity
• Optimize the speed of our algorithms
• Work with research engineers to implement novel pricing algorithms
• Experiment with Reth for faster data indexing

Requirements

• 5 years+ of Engineering Experience
• Experience with TypeScript and Rust or similar languages
• Experience with software development best practices including code reviews, continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), and automated testing
• Previous exposure to Web3/ Blockchain Applications
• US Compatible time zone
• Bachelor's or equivalent experience

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with API security devOps
• EVM experience preferred but not required
• Production Rust experience
• High Degen Score
