About the position

Boeing is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to enhance their Digital capabilities by developing critical self-service and internal team functionalities for a global organization. This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting software components on the Salesforce platform, ensuring high-quality solutions and process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components for the Salesforce platform with integrations to multiple systems.
• Provide technical expertise and assist the team in planning, estimation, and scheduling tasks.
• Work with Solution Architect to define end-to-end solutions.
• Create high fidelity designs for new components and experiences.
• Lead the technical team on the Salesforce CRM platform, coaching and establishing best practices.
• Determine process improvements and develop new processes in collaboration with the team and architects.
• Scope, design, and implement integrations across Boeing Digital.
• Resolve complex issues with practical and efficient technical solutions.
• Stay current on new technologies and evaluate recommendations with the team and architects.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams and management.
• Own the support and maintenance of a mission-critical 24x7x365 website/system.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software programming experience.
• Full Stack development experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Experience leading the development of critical customer-facing websites.
• Strong background with REST/SOAP APIs (XML, JSON).
• Solid understanding of software best practices.
• Salesforce platform and development experience.
• Experience with end-to-end system delivery including design, development, integrations, and data migration.
• Proficient in data modeling, design patterns, and design limitations.
• Broad experience in designing, programming, and implementing large systems.
• Strong solution design and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in leading or supporting product evaluations.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience, including coaching and use of JIRA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or related fields.
• Salesforce certifications in Platform Development, Sales, Service, Experience, and Marketing Cloud.
• Experience in the B2B software support domain.
