In terms of principal accountabilities, the Senior Sales Compensation Analyst is responsible for the administration of the sales compensation program. This includes interpreting and enforcing the program's policies and procedures to ensure compliance, providing guidance to field sales teams on the compensation program, and making recommendations regarding sales quota methodology. The analyst will also participate in the quota-setting process, reviewing quota assignments to maintain fairness and integrity within the sales compensation program. Additionally, the role involves administering all aspects of the sales compensation program, such as tracking and reporting sales and quota attainment, ensuring timely commission payments, managing quota assignments, auditing claims, and overseeing account assignments. The analyst will also assist in evaluating new commission systems to enhance the compensation framework. Another key responsibility is sales analysis and reporting. The analyst will assist with the monthly processing of end-user sales data, which includes cleansing raw data from point-of-sale reports, processing the cleansed data, and uploading it into internal systems for sales claiming. The role requires creating regular and ad-hoc reports to analyze sales activity by customer, product, channel, and program, and becoming an expert in the current sales data management systems. Furthermore, the analyst will be involved in department management by developing and maintaining written departmental standards and procedures, as well as participating in process improvement opportunities for themselves and other team members. Relationship management is also a critical aspect of this role, as the analyst will need to build strong relationships with peers, other departments, and managers to effectively meet the company's goals and objectives.
