About the position

The Senior Sales Compensation Analyst at SiriusXM plays a crucial role in supporting the global advertising sales organization across various properties, including Pandora and AdsWizz. This position is integral to the design and administration of sales compensation plans, ensuring accurate calculations and effective collaboration with multiple departments such as sales, finance, and HR. The analyst will utilize SAP SuccessFactors to manage compensation processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of related systems and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Administer sales compensation plans for the company's global advertising sales organization.
  • Utilize SAP SuccessFactors Incentive Management (Callidus) to calculate quarterly payouts.
  • Participate in UAT testing and implementation of any sales compensation plan changes in SAP SuccessFactors, including auditing payouts for accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to resolve sales compensation-related issues.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, finance, and HR to improve processes and data sets for sales compensation calculations.
  • Prepare monthly general ledger entries and support financial accounting reporting requirements.
  • Provide feedback on the design of sales compensation plans and policies.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of sales compensation experience, preferably in the technology or media industry.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors (Callidus) or comparable sales commission software (e.g., Xactly) is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized and thorough.
  • Effective and tactful communication skills.
  • Possess a process improvement mentality.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the U.S.
