About the position

As a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst at UiPath, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sales commissions and related bonuses. This position requires close collaboration with various departments including Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, HR, and Payroll. Your primary mission will be to calculate and validate commission payments, review and audit crediting rules, and ensure that all payments are processed accurately and on time. You will be expected to immerse yourself in data analysis, drawing insights that will lead to compelling recommendations for process improvements. In this role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and the primary point of contact for compensation inquiries. This includes resolving issues and providing training on compensation plans. You will perform detailed audits of commission statements before payments are released, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in plan calculations. Additionally, you will manage and support the incentive compensation reporting application, Xactly, which includes system enhancements, report design, and functionality improvements. Troubleshooting Xactly and auditing the integrity of data outputs will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work with various business partners to provide strategic insights and recommendations aimed at building a best-in-class variable compensation program. Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of compensation plans and relevant policies will be essential, as will conducting monthly reporting and ad hoc analysis to support the business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate and validate commission payments and other Sales bonuses according to plans, review and audit of crediting rules, commission payments.
  • Verify data accuracy and maintain records or files in accordance with standard procedures and methods.
  • Act as a SME and primary point of contact for compensation inquiries, including resolution, and responsible for providing any additional compensation plan training.
  • Perform detailed audit of commission statements prior to release of payments, ensuring data integrity and accuracy of plan calculation.
  • Manage and support the incentive compensation reporting application (Xactly) including: system enhancements, report design, functionality improvements, and stability.
  • Troubleshoot Xactly, audit integrity of the data and resulting outputs to ensure alignment to the sales compensation plan.
  • Collaborate with various business partners, provide strategic insights and recommendations to build best-in-class variable program.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of plans and relevant policies and application of those policies, monthly reporting and ad hoc analysis.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Sales Compensation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Sales Operations, Finance, Financial Analysis, or a related function is a plus.
  • Working with a Sales Commission tool is a must (Xactly, Callidus, Spiff, CaptivIQ, etc).
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills to effectively analyze data and create meaningful, understandable reports, metrics, and insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce experience highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with diverse teams and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.
  • Ability to handle a variety of complex tasks, working with partial/conflicting data.
  • Motivation and willingness to work on big, time-sensitive projects.
  • Independence and self-organization to navigate through ambiguous situations.
  • Fluency in English and good communication skills.
  • Outstanding analytical skills.
