About the position

The Senior Sales Development Representative is responsible for creating sales-ready opportunities by generating and nurturing a pipeline of qualified leads. This role involves engaging with potential clients, building relationships, and utilizing Salesforce.com for accurate forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and engage with potential new clients
  • Build relationships with prospects via email and phone to generate meetings and build a pipeline
  • Engage with prospects over the phone using a consultative approach to discuss their business issues and generate interest in Emarsys
  • Consistently use Salesforce.com for timely and accurate forecasting and reporting of activity
  • Follow established sales processes

Requirements

  • Eager to learn and succeed in a high-earning software sales environment
  • High level of energy with a positive phone demeanor
  • Experience in a sales or service environment
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Recent experience in software technology, marketing automation, eBusiness, or CRM software is a plus
  • Technical ability to understand overall presentations and competitive differentiation
  • Strong desire to keep up-to-date on technology trends, developments, and best practices
