About the position

As a Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Zego, you will play a crucial role in driving the sales process and supporting the company's growth ambitions. This position is designed for individuals who are either entering the workforce after college or looking to transition into a new career in sales. Your key responsibilities will include identifying and researching target buyers using various public resources and technology, employing innovative techniques to engage these buyers, and developing tailored communications through multiple channels such as phone, email, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms. You will also need to effectively communicate Zego's value proposition to key decision-makers and stay informed about industry trends and competitors' offerings. Meeting or exceeding monthly pipeline goals set by management will be a critical aspect of your performance. Continuous learning and improvement will be encouraged through call studies, formal training, and regular coaching and feedback sessions. Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified meetings and sales pipeline through outbound prospecting.
  • Identify and research target buyers using public resources and technology.
  • Employ innovative techniques to engage target buyers.
  • Develop, test, and adapt persona-specific communications via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other social channels.
  • Overcome objections and communicate Zego's value proposition to decision-makers.
  • Stay current on industry trends and maintain knowledge of competitors' offerings.
  • Meet or exceed monthly pipeline goals set by management.
  • Continuously learn and improve through call study, training, and feedback.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree or equivalent.
  • 1+ years inside sales experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in the B2B software industry preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications, Excel, Google Apps, and CRM tools such as Salesforce.com.
