About the position

As a Senior Sales Director for Pelvic Health at Medtronic, you will lead a high-performing team to enhance patient access to InterStim products and services. This role involves strategic planning, market development, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals to drive sales growth in a significant and established business sector. You will oversee a large team and report directly to the US VP Sales, focusing on improving service delivery and expanding market reach.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a high-performing sales team to improve patient access to InterStim products.
  • Create and execute regional annual and quarterly sales plans to meet revenue and market penetration goals.
  • Collaborate with Medtronic Pelvic Health US Sales Leadership to strategize growth initiatives.
  • Promote and sell Medtronic Pelvic Health products within assigned geographic areas to meet sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders, including physicians and key opinion leaders.
  • Implement sales and marketing programs in the region and direct new product launches.
  • Develop and implement market development plans and strategies, adapting as necessary.
  • Proactively identify changes in healthcare delivery systems and competitive pressures.
  • Assess customer needs and feedback regarding products and communicate with internal stakeholders.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain field personnel for the region, ensuring proper training and orientation.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to District Managers and support staff through field visits.
  • Monitor and control expenses for the region, ensuring compliance with quality policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 15 years of relevant sales experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 13 years of relevant sales experience and 10 years of managerial experience.
  • Proven track record in sales management and team leadership.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA and multi-product and therapy sales management experience.
  • Director level experience overseeing managers.
  • Knowledge of Pelvic Health product portfolio.
