Grundfos is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join its Domestic Building Services (DBS) sales team in the US. In this role, you will apply extensive expert knowledge in domestic building services, coupled with a high degree of technical and commercial acumen. Your primary focus will be to develop initiatives and activities aimed at generating new business and achieving sales goals. You will be responsible for managing accounts within your designated territory, which includes Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, and Iowa. This position allows for remote work, with a preference for candidates based in Milwaukee or Minnesota. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be expected to identify and conduct feasibility studies for new business opportunities that could benefit from Grundfos products and services. You will execute sales tactics and plans that align with the overall sales strategies of the company. Additionally, you will assist in preparing budgets for sales and marketing activities, utilizing SAP BW data for business analysis and forecasting. Your role will also involve providing expert advice to customers, consultants, distributors, and contractors regarding product performance, new products, modifications, system solutions, and terms of sale. You will gather market intelligence on competitor trends and strategies, offering recommendations to business managers to counteract these strategies. Conducting specialized product and application training for customers and team members will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will coach and mentor junior team members, ensuring that all customer activities are recorded in the global CRM tool and that customer master data is maintained accurately.
