Carrier is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our team, focusing on providing technical advice to customers and developing proposals tailored to their requirements. This role is crucial in enhancing the performance of sales engineering by maintaining updated documents and processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with local customers in the Central/North Georgia territory, ensuring that our product offerings meet their needs effectively. In this position, you will manage and grow an assigned territory or group of accounts, developing long-term relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders such as owners, contractors, and consulting engineers. You will perform take-offs and bid projects utilizing the full spectrum of Automated Logic Corporation (ALC) offerings, driving specifications towards these offerings with assigned consulting engineers. Your technical knowledge and experience will be essential in writing project specifications and proposals that resonate with our clients. Utilizing sales tools effectively, including CRM and estimating software, you will plan and document your progress while increasing business opportunities within your accounts. Generating a high level of activity to feed the sales pipeline and managing opportunities through the sales cycle to close will be key responsibilities. Collaboration and effective communication with internal staff will be necessary to deliver quality results and ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will develop relationships with other Sales Engineers to improve branch business results and represent ALC as a leader in local industry associations by attending and presenting at trade shows and participating in professional organizations.
