About the position

The Senior Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting sales executives by providing technical expertise and strategic insights to secure business deals. This position involves managing proposals, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring that solutions align with client needs, particularly in the automotive sector.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between proposal team and customers/sub-suppliers to ensure technical and commercial effectiveness to win the bid
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams in developing proposals and conducting proposal milestone meetings
  • Review and analyze Request for Quote (RFQ) and communicate technicalities and specifications to the Proposal Team
  • Validate final proposal and submit final package on customer's proposal site
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to stay relevant on potential RFQs
  • Scout for new business opportunities
  • Create and present on Wipro-PARI solutions and product offerings
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reports on sales pipeline/sales forecast and account overviews

Requirements

  • 1 year or more experience in sales, preferably in Automotive
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to make effective, succinct presentations
  • Superior analytical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent at working on multiple projects while meeting deadlines
  • Well organized
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to seal the deal
