About the position

The Group Sales Manager, National Accounts at Hyatt Regency Orlando is responsible for driving sales by managing customer accounts, selling guest rooms and meeting spaces, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role requires a proactive approach to generating business, conducting site inspections, and preparing effective proposals while collaborating closely with the sales and event teams.

Responsibilities

  • Sell guest rooms, meeting space, and other Hyatt services to customer groups.
  • Manage accounts and conduct site inspections to generate business.
  • Prepare and present effective proposals to clients.
  • Maintain organized documentation and reports using Hyatt systems.
  • Coordinate customer service requirements as appropriate.
  • Participate in and may lead event meetings and sales staff meetings.
  • Work collaboratively with sales and event staff and support teams.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of full-service hotel sales experience.
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge.
  • Strong selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills training.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
