About the position

The Senior Sales Manager at Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Convention Center is responsible for securing group and convention bookings while maximizing hotel revenue through proactive sales efforts and strategic business development. This role requires building and nurturing customer relationships, conducting market research, and implementing marketing initiatives to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and communication skills, along with a deep understanding of customer needs in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

  • Research, solicit, and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts.
  • Represent the hotel in developing market segments and building new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships with assigned accounts.
  • Maximize revenue and profitability for all hotel revenue streams.
  • Develop a business strategy by analyzing historical, current, and future hotel and market trends.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to capture maximum lead revenue to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Qualify, negotiate, and secure new revenue for the hotel.
