About the position

The position is responsible for proactively soliciting and managing large group and catering opportunities with significant revenue potential. The role involves upselling business opportunities to maximize revenue, achieving personal and team revenue goals, and ensuring excellent service delivery to drive customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Proactively solicit and manage large group/catering opportunities.
• Upsell each business opportunity to maximize revenue.
• Achieve personal and team-related revenue goals.
• Verify timely turnover of business for proper service delivery.
• Drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
• Respond to incoming group/catering opportunities outside EBC parameters.
• Identify, qualify, and solicit new group/catering business.
• Develop effective group/catering sales plans and actions.
• Design and sell creative catered events.
• Maximize revenue by upselling packages and creative food and beverage options.
• Understand market conditions and competitors to close business effectively.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers.
• Support brand's Service and Relationship Strategy to drive customer loyalty.
• Execute brand's Customer Service Standards and property Brand Standards.
• Conduct site inspections and create contracts as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with no work experience required.
