About the position

As a Senior Sales Operations Specialist at Donaldson, you will play a critical role in optimizing sales processes that support, enable, and drive front line sales teams to sell better, faster, and more efficiently. This position is essential in streamlining sales operations, enhancing efficiency, and supporting our sales team to achieve their targets. Your expertise in data analysis, CRM management, process improvement, and customer experience will be crucial to executing our sales strategies to drive profitable growth. In this role, you will build trusting relationships with sales teams to promote collaborative partnerships. You will develop and implement efficient sales processes to improve the productivity and effectiveness of our commercial teams. Leading the sales team in the proper collection and maintenance of customer and sales data will be a key responsibility, as this data will drive analytics that provide insights and support decision-making. You will partner with commercial leaders to optimize business processes, incorporating internal and external sales excellence best practices. Collaboration is vital in this role; you will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Pricing, IT, and others to align sales strategies with overall business goals. You will drive the adoption and consistent utilization of business tools such as Microsoft D365 CRM, Oracle BI, Highspot, and Tableau. Additionally, you will support the Training team in onboarding new employees and partner with sales leaders to create a commercial-focused sales certification program and training. Leading Customer Experience initiatives in partnership with sales leaders and collaborating with Global Sales Ops colleagues to revise and publish the MSA Sales Playbook will also be part of your responsibilities. Presenting business insights to sales leaders and occasionally sharing recommendations to drive business decisions will round out your role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field.
  • 3+ years of sales operations, revenue operations, sales, or customer enablement experience.
  • 1+ years of experience working with data analytics and reporting tools.
