About the position

The Senior Sales Support Specialist at Cox Communications provides essential operational and support services to the Cox Communities sales organization. This role focuses on contract fulfillment, database management, reporting, and client communication, ensuring that all post-sales client fulfillment requirements are met efficiently and accurately. The position involves collaboration with various teams to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction while identifying areas for process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Completes post-sales support cases as assigned.
  • Processes MDU invoices and tracks annual budget in a timely manner.
  • Assists in post-sale expediting and follow-up by ensuring contract information is properly entered into the database.
  • Works closely with Sales, Sales Engineering, Project Management, and Client Performance Management teams to implement and execute all post-sales client fulfillment requirements.
  • Identifies areas for improvement and recommends solutions.
  • Serves as point of contact for MDU myAxis pages, ensuring relevant and accurate information is available.
  • Coordinates data collection and generates reports as requested.
  • Supports maintenance and accuracy of MDU databases and tools through auditing and reporting.
  • Manages national contracts and documents from property owners and management companies.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for complex processes requiring specialized support.
  • Provides customer-level support to achieve goals of reduced cycle time and maximum customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 5 or more years of experience in a related field (Marketing, Sales, or Sales Operations).
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of Visio; strong knowledge of ICOMS and OBIEE.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), analytical, time management, organizational, and collaborative skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • AS/AA or Technical Certification in a related discipline (Marketing, Business, etc.)
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Knowledge and experience with Sales Force.com.
