About the position

The Senior Sales Technology Consultant at IT Voice is a key role that combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on execution in the IT and telecommunications sector. This position is designed for a motivated sales professional who excels in a competitive environment and is eager to engage with executive-level decision-makers. The role emphasizes building long-term client relationships and offers significant earning potential through a competitive commission structure, rewarding successful sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with new prospects and clients within the tel and IT space.
  • Actively engage in cold calling and follow a strategic multi-touch process to identify and convert leads.
  • Partner with technology experts to create customized IT solutions for businesses, focusing on recurring revenue.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (quotas).
  • Manage the sales cycle from prospecting through to successful handoff to operations for execution.
  • Forecast sales accurately to ensure targets are met and to inform strategic planning.
  • Participate in leadership discussions and contribute to strategic sales planning.
  • Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels.
  • Visit customers, attend trade shows, and other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities.
  • Stay current on industry trends and adjust strategies to align with client needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in managed IT services, VOIP, or telephony.
  • Proven track record of top-performing sales success, meeting quotas, with expertise in B2B sales, Tel, or IT.
  • Strong expertise in networking, professional relationship building, and technical knowledge of IT, Cloud, Managed Hosting, VOIP, and Cybersecurity.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, writing, and customer service skills.
  • High level of initiative and ownership, with the ability to work independently and drive results.
