About the position

The Senior Sales Territory Manager at Envista Holdings Corporation is responsible for driving growth and expanding profit margins within assigned accounts and territories. This role involves establishing professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts, meeting sales targets, and implementing effective sales strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and market share.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales plan for existing and new customers, assessing their needs and characteristics.
  • Analyze and assess customer and territory sales trends to plan sales activities that meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to strengthen relationships and ensure satisfaction with products and services.
  • Identify and maintain contact with prospective customers, developing strategies to convert them from competitors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key thought leaders to expand market share.
  • Maintain accurate customer files and records for up-to-date information sharing.
  • Report product issues and competitive strategies to management that affect local sales.
  • Stay informed on products, technologies, and competitive activity to inform sales strategies.
  • Establish and maintain a travel schedule for consistent customer contact, following the sales plan.
  • Manage the geographical territory within the allocated expense budget.
  • Complete all administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Participate in national and local trade shows and company meetings as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of achievement-oriented sales experience with Nobel Biocare or equivalent experience in direct competition, or a minimum of 4 years in achievement-oriented sales, preferably in the medical device or dental field.
  • Ability to drive a car is an essential function of the position.

  • Basic to intermediate computer skills.
