About the position

The Senior Salesforce Administrator at Jewish Family & Children's Service (JF&CS) is responsible for managing and enhancing the Salesforce platform to support the organization's mission. This role involves overseeing the Database Systems Manager responsibilities, improving user experience, and ensuring effective project management for various Salesforce initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, implement solutions, and provide training and support to staff, all while maintaining a focus on user satisfaction and data quality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and project manage short- and long-term priorities and operation of Client Data department.
  • Define and manage quarterly release of updates to JF&CS' Salesforce org to improve the end-user experience.
  • Project manage and lead implementation of new 'builds' with Database Administrator and program staff.
  • Customize user experience using Salesforce tools such as Lightning App Builder, Object Manager, and Flows.
  • Troubleshoot and fix technical Salesforce issues as they arise.
  • Prepare and update reports, dashboards, and pre-filled documents in collaboration with the Evaluation Manager.
  • Train and supervise the Salesforce Database Administrator.
  • Create and update 'how-to' documentation for end-users and provide hands-on training when required.
  • Provide hands-on 'how-to' support for staff to supplement the Database Administrator.

Requirements

  • Five years of work experience using Salesforce and Lightning Experience, focused in database administration and building.
  • Bachelor's degree with Advanced Administrator Salesforce Certification or commensurate experience.
  • High level of Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects while adhering to deadlines.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • A desire to help advance a mission-based organization through creativity and knowledge.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using Help Scout or other help desk software.
  • Experience using Asana or other project management software.
  • Familiarity with FormTitan or Power BI.
