About the position

The Senior Salesforce Cloud Developer will play a pivotal role in program management and software development, ensuring the success of complex projects within the organization. This position requires engagement with key stakeholders, including the GSA CO/HUD COR and OCIO, to provide programmatic leadership and oversight. The individual will lead and contribute to software development efforts, addressing increasingly complex objectives while ensuring that all projects meet or exceed established standards. The role involves supervising and reviewing the work of employees and subcontractors, managing all aspects of a complex program that consists of multiple projects and workstreams. This includes overseeing the program budget, schedule, and compliance with contractual requirements, as well as handling hiring, firing, salary management, and performance evaluations. The Senior Salesforce Cloud Developer will serve as the primary executive contact with the customer, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction with the program's progress and outcomes. In addition to program management responsibilities, the Senior Salesforce Cloud Developer will support Salesforce implementation efforts by providing guidance to developers on the team. This includes leveraging both configuration-based approaches and custom development techniques, such as APEX and VisualForce, to deliver effective solutions. The individual will be responsible for developing technical plans, approaches, and related system documentation, while optimizing across the Salesforce ecosystem and demonstrating technical expertise in multiple Salesforce products, including ServiceCloud and Communities. The role requires adherence to Federal security standards, development guidelines, and other relevant agency requirements, ensuring that all engineering, design, and coding deliverables are met throughout the project lifecycle. The Senior Salesforce Cloud Developer will also perform unit, side effect, and system testing of solutions as necessary, following Agile IT methodologies to ensure efficient project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to software development to meet complex objectives.
• Oversee design and execution of supporting projects and conduct analysis to meet project standards.
• Supervise and review the work of employees and subcontractors.
• Manage all aspects of a complex program, including multiple projects/workstreams.
• Oversee program budget, schedule, and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Manage hiring, firing, salaries, and performance management.
• Serve as the primary executive contact with the customer.
• Support Salesforce implementation efforts and provide guidance to developers.
• Leverage configuration-based approaches and custom development to deliver solutions.
• Develop technical plans, approaches, and related system documentation.
• Optimize across Salesforce ecosystem and demonstrate technical expertise in multiple Salesforce products.
• Produce work consistent with Federal security standards and development guidelines.
• Meet engineering, design, and coding deliverable deadlines throughout project lifecycle.
• Perform unit, side effect, and system testing of solutions as necessary.
• Follow Agile IT methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited academic institution recognized by the US Department of Education.
• US Citizen.
• Salesforce certifications.
• Program or project management experience.
• Minimum 10 years Salesforce Developer experience.
• Experience with MuleSoft.
• Proficiency using all Microsoft Office 365 applications.
