About the position

The Senior Salesforce CPQ Developer will provide technical leadership in the design, development, and maintenance of Salesforce ecosystems, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Billing, and Field Services. This role involves acting as an internal consultant and mentor, ensuring adherence to best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical development leadership in designing, developing, and maintaining the Salesforce ecosystems.
• Act as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent.
• Apply current application development methodology attributes and processes consistently.
• Collaborate, define, and maintain effective development processes, including coding standards and testing methodology.
• Groom new enhancement requests and clarify scenarios before development.
• Develop optimal solutions considering user needs, system performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Review peer development and provide effective feedback.
• Write scenario-based test classes for automated testing of developed code.
• Assist the production support team in a timely manner.
• Participate in the estimation, scope, and completion of new development requests.
• Train new users and enhance the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization.
• Act as a liaison between users and application development teams.
• Document every development task using design documents and flow diagrams.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify technology modifications impacting business processes.

Requirements

• Four (4) year degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of Object-Oriented software development experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing on Sales and Service Clouds.
• 5 years of experience developing in the APEX language including Classes and Triggers.
• 5 years of experience doing front end development using Force.com.
• 5 years of experience performing deployments from Sandbox environments to Production.
• Experience in optimizing queries using indexes and skinny tables.
• Extensive knowledge of principles, concepts, and theories in own discipline and broad knowledge of other functions.
• Strong understanding of the platform to support and build custom apps.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.
• Excellent organizational skills and a positive attitude.
• Great team player who proactively offers help or guidance to peers.
• Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Very good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to design and implement new processes.
• Ability to follow defined processes, meet deadlines, and manage multiple requests.

• Ability to critically evaluate information from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts.
