About the position

The Senior Salesforce Data Cloud Solution Architect will play a crucial role in supporting Boeing Digital by developing essential capabilities for both external and internal teams within a global organization. This position focuses on designing, implementing, and managing scalable data solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem, primarily utilizing Data Cloud technology.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable data solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem, primarily leveraging Data Cloud.
• Provide technical expertise and professional experience to assist the team in planning, estimation, and scheduling tasks.
• Collaborate with the Data Cloud product owner to meet business outcomes.
• Lead the technical team's work on the Salesforce CRM platform, coaching and establishing best practices to ensure quality solutions.
• Create robust data models and architectures on Data Cloud to effectively capture, store, and optimize customer data from various sources.
• Establish and monitor data governance policies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across the ecosystem, including data cleansing solutions.
• Resolve complex issues by recommending and employing practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.
• Stay current on new Salesforce Data Cloud and other platform technologies; evaluate and make recommendations as necessary in collaboration with the team and architects.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and management.

Requirements

• 7+ years' Salesforce or similar CRM experience
• Salesforce platform and development experience
• Working experience and knowledge of end-to-end system delivery from design, development, integrations, data migration, and transition into production operations
• Proficient in data modeling, design patterns, and Salesforce platform org limitations
• Broad experience designing, programming, and implementing large enterprise systems
• Strong solution design and problem-solving skills
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience (coaching, use of JIRA)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or related fields/experience
• Relevant Certifications: Salesforce Certified Data Architect, Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant (for marketing-focused data solutions)
• Experience in the B2B and B2C software support domain
