About the position

The Senior Salesforce Developer will utilize modern tools and techniques to develop, modify, and update applications for business and infrastructure units. This role involves leading technical efforts within development teams, participating in the software development life cycle, and ensuring that applications meet business needs and processes. The developer will also mentor junior staff and leverage DevOps tools for continuous integration and deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with product owners and development team members to determine new features and user stories for applications.
  • Create or update documentation supporting development efforts, including specifications and architecture diagrams.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to user stories and architectural standards.
  • Respond to support calls for production applications to ensure quick repairs and maintain uptime.
  • Serve as a technical lead for an Agile team, participating in all Agile ceremonies.
  • Mentor less experienced technical staff and facilitate the development process using advanced tools.
  • Leverage Fannie Mae DevOps tool stack for building, inspecting, deploying, testing, and promoting features.
  • Set up and configure a continuous integration environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
  • 4+ years of related experience in Salesforce ecosystem project implementations.
  • Strong understanding of IT delivery methodology and leading teams in solution implementation.
  • 4+ years of experience in Salesforce configuration and development, including Salesforce Lightning, Apex, and REST APIs.
  • Strong client management and executive-level communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile planning tools such as JIRA or Rally.

Nice-to-haves

  • At least two Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Developer, Admin).
  • Experience with Apttus Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).
