About the position

The Senior Salesforce Developer leads the design, development, and implementation of advanced, customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to address complex business needs. Collaborates with stakeholders to define requirements, develop scalable applications, and ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems. Involves writing and reviewing Apex code, creating Lightning components, optimizing workflows, and mentoring junior developers. Leverages deep technical expertise and leadership skills to drive innovation, ensure system performance, and support strategic organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on and deliver a strategic set of roadmap priorities that meet strategic targets.
  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform based on industry best practices as well as business needs.
  • Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues in a timely manner.
  • Own the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions, customizations, applications, extensions and integrations that impact multiple platforms and products.
  • Analyze business requirements and architect/estimate solutions at various scales.
  • Perform code reviews and contribute to iterative improvement of tools, automation and practices used by the business.
  • Establish and implement data standards, policies, and guidelines to ensure data integrity and trust within Salesforce applications.
  • Learn new technologies and drive opportunities for adoption.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Salesforce developer.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the financial services sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work toward strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work independently in a changing environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce certifications including, but not limited to: Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Advanced Developer, and Application Architect, is preferred.
  • If you do not already have a Securities license relevant to your role at Innovayte you may be required to take and pass the Securities Industries Essentials exam provided by FINRA.
