About the position

The Senior Salesforce Developer at Georgia-Pacific is responsible for leading the technical development and deployment of Salesforce.com functionalities across various clouds. This role combines leadership with hands-on development, ensuring that the Salesforce implementation meets complex business needs through effective collaboration with cross-divisional teams. The position requires a strong track record in Salesforce development and a passion for translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the technical development and deployment of Salesforce.com functionalities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, technical architects, and developers to convert user stories into actionable technical designs using tools like flows, triggers, APEX classes, Lightning Web Components, and MuleSoft/SAP CPI integrations.
  • Manage and coordinate onshore and offshore development teams for delivery, unit testing, QA, and deployment.
  • Maintain comprehensive data models, data dictionaries, and technical documentation.
  • Work with MuleSoft and SAP CPI integration teams to implement data integrations between Salesforce and other systems, and develop and execute data migration strategies as needed.
  • Ensure effective application monitoring and technical support for the Salesforce.com platform.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in Salesforce.com configuration and development.
  • Experience leading and coordinating development efforts with teams.
  • Strong background in implementing and supporting complex databases and integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and deployment technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • BS Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or MIS.
  • Experience in creating solutions in Salesforce Experience Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Marketing Cloud for customers and partners.
  • Experience in managing data migrations into Salesforce.com or other CRM platforms.
