About the position

The Senior Salesforce Developer at Trillium Professional is responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders to create software deliverables and artifacts. This role involves adhering to organizational methodologies, proposing improvements, and performing development and integration support for Salesforce applications. The developer will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the EOE Organization, Project Managers, Architects, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance teams to create software deliverables.
  • Adhere to organizational methodologies and standards, proposing improvements based on best practices.
  • Perform Lightning Web Component Development and provide integration platform support, including enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, rollout, and documentation creation.
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings to discuss current tasks and provide weekly status reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Proven record of accomplishment working on large-scale projects with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components, Lightning Flows, Apex Batches and Triggers, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other solutions.
  • Experience with programming languages such as SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and CSS.
  • Experience with batch data and real-time stream processing on the Salesforce platform.
  • Expertise in developing UI pages using the LWC framework.
  • Experience with complex Salesforce API integration for applications on various platforms.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, and other integration tools.
  • Implemented Async processing solutions with Platform events, Async Apex, Queueable Apex, CDC, Lightning Message Service, etc.
  • Extensive understanding of Salesforce Experience Cloud (Communities) development and customization.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including process documentation, naming and commenting conventions, and Salesforce policies/procedures.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD).
  • Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Salesforce-specific IDE and version control configurations (Github, BitBucket) for Salesforce development (VS Code, IntelliJ, SFDX).
  • Experience with accessibility laws and WCAG 2.1 compliance.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience related to K-12 education/curriculum standards would be a plus.
  • Experience with cloud solutions/technologies, specifically AWS, is also a plus.
