About the position

The Senior Salesforce Developer will play a pivotal role in the design and development of custom solutions on the Force.com platform. This position requires a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including declarative customization, APEX, Visualforce, and Lightning Components. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing Salesforce solutions that span multiple business areas within the client's environment, ensuring that the solutions are robust and scalable. In this role, the developer will lead custom development efforts on the Salesforce.com platform, overseeing technical design, development, documentation, configuration, maintenance, administration, and integration of the Salesforce platform. The candidate will be expected to manage end-to-end implementation processes, demonstrating thorough knowledge of Salesforce and proficiency in configuration, customization, and integration. A deep architectural understanding of implementing Salesforce for CRM and Commerce is essential for success in this position. The ideal candidate will also possess strong hands-on experience in Lightning Web Components (LWC) and will be responsible for assessing proposed solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver the desired outcomes. Current Salesforce certifications such as PD1, PD2, Administrator, Javascript Developer, and B2B are preferred, highlighting the importance of ongoing professional development in this rapidly evolving field.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on design and development of custom solutions on the Force.com platform including declarative customization, APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Components, data modeling, integration, and data migration.
• Design Salesforce solutions that cross multiple business areas within the client's environment.
• Design, develop and implement Salesforce across the enterprise.
• Lead custom development on the Salesforce.com platform.
• Perform technical design/development, documentation, configuration, maintenance, administration, and integration of the Salesforce platform.
• Manage end-to-end implementation with the Salesforce platform.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Salesforce and be well-versed in configuration, customization, and integration.
• Possess a deep architectural understanding of implementing Salesforce for CRM and Commerce.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Ability to understand and assess proposed solutions to determine how closely they meet requirements and if they will deliver the desired business outcomes.
• Ability to select desired options to make commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, applications, or IT systems function to user specifications.
• Current Salesforce certifications (PD1, PD2, Administrator, Javascript Developer, B2B) preferred.
