About the position

The Senior Salesforce Developer will be a key member of the IT Department, responsible for developing and implementing software solutions primarily within Salesforce.com. This role involves hands-on participation in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and requires expertise in various Salesforce products and services. The developer will work closely with the CRM Application Development Team Leader to ensure that solutions meet business needs and adhere to architectural standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions primarily in Salesforce.com using Lightning Component Development or Classic UI.
  • Provide expertise in Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Apex Classes/Triggers, Visualforce Pages, Salesforce Workflow, SOQL, SOSL, and Force.com API.
  • Customize Reports and Dashboards.
  • Configure and schedule periodic data synchronization with enterprise data store using third-party tools like DBSync or DBAmp.
  • Migrate an on-premise CRM system into the Salesforce environment.
  • Manage technical development of software from launch through user acceptance, including projects affecting multiple departments and posing high-risk situations.
  • Design steps and modules, define timelines, identify and resolve issues.
  • May serve as technical lead and make decisions regarding technical direction, including architectural decisions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, including multiple successful implementations.
  • Experience working within the Financial Services industry, at a wealth management or investment firm.
  • Expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Apex Classes/Triggers, SOQL, SOSL, and Force.com API.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Scheduler, Inbox, and High Velocity Sales.
  • AZURE Integration experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related discipline.
